Help! Some of my eggs arenot hatching at end of day 24!!

I had some hatch on day 22 and then a few yesterday which was day 23. I have like 5 that haven't even pipped. Yesterday they were shaking the eggs and tapping but I have not heard or seen much of anything today or tonight. Are they probably dead then? Should I open them? Disappointed because they were alive yesterday.

Maybe give it 1 more day..?? but I'm sorry, it sounds like those won't make it.

I hope I am wrong though

I know they probably won't. I just hate it that I could hear them and see the eggs move and now not much at all.

I am beginner and have similar problem....in southern CA,I found my 8-9 month old hen (not sure of breed?EE)-sitting on hidden nest with 15 eggs on nov 1st-I moved her with nest and eggs to egg box in outdoor coop...she has been sitting on them 24x7 since...it has been little cold-about 46 deg at nights....then on tues 11/22..3 baby chicks,wed 11/23..3 more baby chicks...all 6 active and eating ....but today thur 11/24 no more chicks... she is still sitting on her eggs....how long and what to expect??
