Hello, so I have a few chickens that always seem to have bad diarrhea. Like it sticks their feathers too. But I've checked for worms and there is none. Other than that they seem to be very healthy and no other problems. How ever some of my 17 wk olds that live with adults passed away out of the blue. But it is freezing here right now even though we keep a lamp in the coop.

What breed are these chickens? And how did you check for worms?

I have gone through her droppings to check. It's really just our one hen. She is just a standard brown layer. Our other chickens are bantam cochins, silkie, Jersey giant, Americauna, RIR, and a few mixed 17 wk olds

Can you take a fecal sample to your vet for testing? (you may not always be able to see worms in droppings)

What type of food/treats do you feed?

Unfortunately we do not have a vet near us that is willing to work on farm animals or birds. We feed them the dumor layer crumbles. For treats we give them meal worms and seeds. Once in awhile they get leftovers too
