We picked up our Buff Orp, EE and Barred Rock yesterday from our local feed store, I noticed this evening the Buff Orp constantly had it's eyes closed. The EE and Barred Rock are snuggling and eating/drinking together, but the Buff Orp seems on its own. I checked for pasty butt about 5 hours ago and all was fine, I did again as I was headed to bed 2 hours ago and noticed her bum is a bit prolapsed, not a lot but just sticking out a little. She seemed totally out of it, I was watching to see if she'd poop and she hadn't the 1/2 hour I watched her. I did the q-tip in Vaseline (which I just found as a suggestion on here and still nothing.) Meanwhile the EE keeps pecking her face. I took her out again and gave her a little bowl of Sav-A-Chick and Probiotics in water. She drank a ton, her eyes opened up and she had a small poop (yay) and started chirping. I just put her back in the brooder and she won't stop chirping, she started chirping after the water kicked in I think and she hasn't let up since. Meanwhile the EE and Barred Rock are totally bullying her. I also noticed just now, she isn't as big as the EE and Barred Rock either? It doesn't look like she's grown from yesterday. Yesterday they were all the same size, today the other two are bigger, she's not. What do I do here, I'm worried the other chicks are going to mess her up. Meanwhile, I need to get to bed. I have another brooder with four - 4 week old Silkie's but don't think that would be good to put her in there either. I'm dreading tomorrow morning, oh dear. Help anyone?

So sorry she's sick! You can try to stick some cardboard in the brooder to separate her from the two larger ones, and give her some food and water in her area. Hopefully she will catch up in size now that she has a boost!
