Hi everyone I have an indoor chicken named April, who normally lays brown eggs but lately her eggs are super pale or white and the weird part is that they’re thin, but I give her a good source of calcium everyday which includes her oyster shells and a spoonful of yogurt. Also I’ve noticed that she’s pooping very little and its sometimes watery green or mostly white. Another thing I noticed about her poop is she's been pooping very little and its like she's not fully digesting her grain. She also doesn’t seem to have much of an appetite either and she’s all fluffed up and looks depressed just not her regular behavior. Her comb is not pale at all its still a bright red she hasn’t been sneezing or coughing and no mucus, so I don't think it's a respiratory issue and her feet are perfectly fine so I don't believe its bubble foot. Im trying to figure out what’s wrong with her to be able to cure it fast and I’ll really appreciate your help. Thank you.

How old is she and what exactly do you feed her?
Are you feeding a whole grain type feed or scratch?
Do you feed treats like yogurt often? Any other treats?
Hi Kiki thank you so much for replying and April is about to turn 3 on June so she's currently 2 years old and she eats scratch since she can be a picky eater and yes I do feed her yogurt often to help give her source of calcium and also do give her crickets or solider worms every so often.

Hi welcome to BYC. Scratch is only ok as an occasional treat it’s not a balanced diet so she could be suffering from malnutrition..

Hello, and welcome to BYC. Sounds as if she needs a balanced ration rather than just scratch and treats. As a laying cycle is about to end, egg color and shell strength sometimes lighten/weaken.
Is there anything you recommend to help her through the end of the laying cycle and also what else should I incorporate into her daily grain??

Nutrena / nature wise is a good feed brand they make layer pellets and layer crumbles too I believe. I buy their All Flock because I also have ducks and geese .

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. This is a great place to explore and hang out.
If she is the only bird you have she needs other birds too.
