Hello I have a 6 month old female cat, I'm not sure if shes gone into heat yet but she's always going outside. But lately her stomach is feeling alittle bit bigger, also her nipples are larger, but as of today her stomach feels a little hard but she could've been tensed up i am not sure. I do not have the money to take her to the vet though... I worry if she is pregnant due to her age..

Oh dear, I am assuming you weren't wanting kittens, please make sure she is spayed after she has had her babies to avoid anymore unwanted little ones

Kitties! Okay, first off, it may not be kittens. My dog had her nipples get larger and she felt pregnant, but she was not. Different animal, I know. But because of how old she is her body might be 'changing' and getting ready to be able to have babies. Watch for her heat cycle, if she misses it then she is pregnant. Have fun! And hey, just be glad you dont have to bottle feed

Wait 63 days and if she does not have the kittens, get her fixed. Don't let her go outside in the meantime.

I've got them locked up in my room now. Her belly is feeling hardish and feeling something in there not sure on what yet.. Seems shes 6 months old I don't expect her to feed her babies but I hope she does keeps me from falling head over heals with them lol.. I don't mind her having babies just at this age scares me. but shes a decent size.

I just hope she doesn't have problems with the birth, are you going to hand rear them if she can't or won't? Can I ask why you don't mind her having kittens?........... Please consider the fact that there are far to many unwanted cats as it is, do you really want to add to them?

We have a lot of strays around our house who are really sweet. Some of them don't like people though, but we still feel obligated to take them to the vet. It's awful every year when the females have kittens because a lot of them don't make it and the males fight all the time. We get any cats we find spayed and neutered. There are lots of places that will give you funding to spay and neuter cats. Either way though, congrats on the kittens!

I know there are many unwanted cats out there.. Just seeing new life of kitten's or any baby is amazing. But I want to get her spayed going to try to save up on it .. specially living out in the country and male cats around and two females. and I'll help her as much and best I can. My moms had pregnant cats in the years.. But what happens if she doesn't try to push them out..? I don't mind bottle feeding. Also I make sure they're going to a perfect family before giving them away if they do survive.. I hope she survives too.

I know everyone on backyard chickens is way nicer than the people on yahoo answers got unpleasant answers..
