How do you keep sparrows out of your goose feed? I have covered the run in chicken wire and tarps but they still find ways in and eat all my goose feed! Is there something I can put on the coop or by the door that would scare them or deter them away?
The neighbors cats don't scare them! The sparrows get into the kennel with the geese and my geese are 7 months old to where the sparrows scare them it seems like. I have put a bucket of corn and seeds in the yard by the bushes and that has slowed them down. It has gotten worse since the weather has changed!
I have given up trying to keep sparrows out of my coops. An open door is an open invitation.
I have gotten used to them flying through the coops and into the enclosed runs. Yesterday was a first. Inside my avatar coop's run was a frantic squirrel who couldn't figure out how to leave the same way it came in.
