HELP! squeaking, breathless cockatiel

R.I.P Pebbles.

He was healthy and gaining weight for a month, then I went to america for a month. A week into me being away he started wheezing again and then his health really crashed.
I'm heartbroken I wasn't with him when he died. He was such a little fighter.

The house is far too quiet without him

That is one of the saddest things I've heard.... I hadn't seen this thread until now, and I was going through the first few comments but I decided to skip to the last page... then I expected "He's doing just fine now " but saw "R.I.P Pebbles" and already, I was devastated!
The wonders keep running through my head... Why do such wonderful creatures have to die? But alas, the time comes.... I am glad he had an amazing life with you, and he will rest in peace in Heaven....
