Help .. squirrel attack and injured my duck in cage

Hello.. something attacked my duck very bad the blood was everywhere! I always lock her in the coop before I leave house ! I was in shock so I look at my camera and I was shocked! Squirrel got into the cage and was attacking and eating flush of my duck we treating her wounds and she is inside house for now ! Anybody have any tips how to treat such a serious wound? And anybody ever see squirrel doing this to the duck?

Rinse it with water and apply neosporin or something like it.
Are these still little ducks?
Squirrels eat meat, they eat birds and mice if they can catch them.

I’ve never heard of this before. Never would have thought of a squirrel being a predator maybe of young ducklings? How old is your duck? How is she?

No she is 2 years old but very slow .

I'd get rat traps for that squirrel.

Poor baby keep the wound clean I'd use a saline rinse and antibiotic ointment on it triple antibiotic is a good one. or even Veterycin spray for wounds and infections.

She’s doing OK , she’s still in shock…cleaning the wound is challenging but she is absolute sweetheart!
