I noticed one of my goslings (the other one is fine) drinking a lot earlier and spraying/spitting it out. Like a lot of water. She hasnt eaten in at least 2 hours (I wasnt paying attention until the water thing) and is refusing kale which is her favorite, she always gobbles it right up.
****Her poops are either completely clear liquid (at least 4-5 poops purely clear liquid) no solids or colors at all, then she had 2 very watery and weird.
She seems lethargic.
She lives mostly inside but had been outside for about 2 hours before i noticed the water drinking thing. It's about 95 degrees outside but she has a kiddie pool and my enclosed back porch with fans on and a waterer that she has access to when outside.

Please help. I am most definitely a worry wort and panic over everything so maybe this is normal but I've never seen it before. I dont know of a vet within 2 hours of me that sees geese.

She might have a blockage, but my gosling poops "water" every now and then watery poo can be normal but if it wont swallow something could be caught in throat or crop

Thank you so much for replying. I couple of hours after I posted this I found a mouse sized hairball in her cage that she must have passed some time that night, and yesterday she passed a whole bunch more. The night before all of this, I was cutting my husbands hair and saw her peck at it and had to pull a clump of hair out of her mouth and put her out of the room so she wouldn't eat it. She wasnt in the room 5 minutes, I have no idea how she ate this much.

She was drinking an insane amount of water, constantly, that first day. Now she is drinking much less, which is her normal amount.

I have been giving her save a chick electrolytes and probiotics since finding the hair, and put some liquid coconut oil in her water because she refuses to eat anything and she spilled the water and got coconut oil all over her. I bathed her in dawn.

She still refuses to eat. She has access to her crumble feed, kale, grass, and mealworms and just wont eat.

She had been very lethargic but has slightly perked up today. I have no way of knowing if all of the hair is out.

I'm so worried. I dont know what else to do.

Here are pictures of what her poops today has looked like. The first picture is her most recent and it has the very first piece of solid poop shes had in 2 days. It's a very small solid in the diarrhea, but still.

Thank you for replying! I am still new to this site so I'm not sure how to tag people so they see that I have replied, but I hope you see this. I'm so worried

That's quite a bit of hair and I see some grass so she has munched on something. If she is drinking normally now can you make her feed soupy with warm water adding about a tab of coconut oil to that and seeing is she'll drink her feed. Just a small amount so it's not wasted if she won't. Sometimes they will eat soup before dry feed. You might even take her water away while she is trying the soup. Since there will be warm water in it. She really needs to eat. How does her crop area feel is it empty, soft, hard? other than a vet I am not sure what else you can do but I am going to tag @casportpony and see if she knows what else. I know tube feeding is always an option but if she is blocked up with hair not sure that is the way to go. How old is your gosling?
