My (nearly 3 yr old) plymouth barred rock girl is squatting around her coop (not in the nesting boxes) and also laying down in the corner. Resp rate seems a bit higher. Any ideas? I don't want her to die while I am work today. THANKS!!!

On second look, she is favoring her left leg; there appears to be a small amount of swelling, and more heat in this leg than the other one. Any suggestions would be most appreciated! Thank you!!

I know this sounds pathetic since I have had my girls nearly 3 yrs, but how do I do that? Thank you!

bumble foot? maybe. chenck the bottom of her foot.

She could also have an injury or infection in the leg or foot. Somebody holds the chook and the other person takes a good look along the leg. If there is infection she will need antibiotics,
Sandie
