I have a frizzle cochin bantam rooster. Recently, I've been noticing a black wart looking thing developing on his wattle. It's not frostbite though. I am very worried because he is my favorite chicken of the whole flock. I do not know if the rosebud salve effected it. I ran out of Vaseline and used the salve. Should I pop it? What do I do? There is not a chicken vet for miles around. Thanks!
