While holding my 2 month old silkie cross today, I noticed that he had these strange yellowish welts under his wings. He has not indicated that they are painful, and seems perfectly fine and healthy. The biggest welt has what almost look like tiny microscopic red eggs in it or something. None of the chickens in my flock have a history of illness or mites. I have never had any problem with any of my chickens, except for Bumblefoot and it wasn't this cockerel who had it. I looked under one of my other chicken's wings, but I couldn't see much because she is so fluffy. The rest of the flock is just as fluffy but I will try to check them out. I would really like to know what this is so I can take care of it as soon as possible. I will upload pictures in a few minutes. Thanks!
