Might want to ferment that so the fines get consumed.
But if you other chickens are not having any issues, then it's just an individual issue.

Ok thankyou yes my other 21 are perfectly ok with the seed and she is too i just don't know why her crop is not wanting to empty can worms play a part in it slowing down the digestive system?

They can do in large volumes. How is her comb color? Birds tend to get anemia or a loss of condition at the breast under high gut load.

Dewormer and coccidia treatments shouldn't be what's yellowing the urates, so those sorts of treatments can continue if needed. The only way to know for sure on those is to get a fecal float done at your local vet. - this does not have to be an avian or exotic vet. Even the dog and cat places should be able to do it and it's a pretty basic\cheap procedure.

What sort of grit do they have available? Oyster, small pebbles, sand in the run? Seed can sometimes be slow to break down, so blending and offering as a slurry or fermented as has been mentioned may help with crop speed, but my main concern would still be the yellow urates. Do monitor this closely and see if they start to whiten up again now that she's off the extras.

I think red but still pale like ill show you a photo i think she's on her way to passing😥😥

Mainy the grit provided in the seed, they do have access to free range every day, but maybe there does need to be more grit involed but where can i buy these kinds of things and how much do i place out etc?
How would i slurry there seed?
Is it safe as well as fermenting?
It just seems like if you do it wrong with the fermenting it can all go wrong?

I don't think they have, what are the problems with the yellow poo if it hasn't changed which i really don't think it has she's been off EL maybe for half the day now maybe even more its the next day now.

Day 5 of her being unwell marks today.

Her crop Is the exact same as its been. Its hard to describe.
Its squishy like a water belly but its in her crop, goes down sometimes but always comes back(The watery squish ballon like feeling) and when it goes down the seed or whatever may be in her crop is still there? Im pretty sure its seed since it does feel like it when it goes down?
But im completely out of ideas!? I have no local avain vet around either. And theres no foul smell out of her mouth, I've check every day so it just can't be sour crop?
I just hope my girl Penny improves but i just have a feeling that won't happen.

I've owned chicken's for at least 9 yrs And im 16 regardless how long you've owned them for i do feel like there's Always something new you haven't learned or even herd about.

Slurry is easy - just blend up their normal feed and add warm water (but not hot enough to burn)- you want a thick porridge consistency- and only feed fresh. If you make too much, you can store it back in the fridge to use later that day, but make sure to warm it back up before feeding. Sick birds don't need to be wasting energy warming the food for digestion.

I'd skip this if she is eating her pellets normally. You can also try soaking her food in apple juice or adding it to the slurry to perk her appetite if not. - just be mindful to not to give her cold feed. The easiest way to rewarm evenly is to set her bowl in a larger bowl of hot water and let it warm gradually with an occasional stir. Once it feels warm on the inside of your wrist, it's good to go.

Ok thanks I'll have to give it a go
