I give Gobbles 3 to 4 drops from a non needle syringe 3x a day. I just started Feathers on it last night because that’s when I noticed his issues. I mix Vit E with the Complex and mix with a tiny but of Poultry Cell water so it’s easy for him to drink it.
What brand are you giving? Are you crushing pills and adding water or is this a liquid B complex?
No, we just started mixing medicated feed with their regular feed yesterday. We don’t have a ton of options for food where we live. They are on the Mana Pro 24% protein because I had read that silkies need at least 20% protein. So that’s why we decided to mix medicated with their regular feed. I think what sucks the most, is Gobbles would have days where he was acting slightly better. He wasn’t head-tucking as much but still having issues. Now seeing Feathers go from what I assumed to be a normal health chick, to now looking possessed is definitely making me lose hope. I just wanna help them and I feel powerless to do so. I also don’t want them to suffer ☹
Crushing pills and mixing in tiny bowl with cap full size of pre mixed poultry cell water , then administering it by droplets. 3-4 drops — 3x a day
Ok, that should be ok. Is it one pill per Capfull of poultry cell? Do they get about a capful a day?
No, there’s a lot left over. Should I be giving more? And I forgot add that it’s liquid Vit E. Here’s a pic of what we’re using. The Chick Boost (electrolytes), Poultry Cell, and Poultry Nutri-Drench are all mixed in a gallon of water. We only splash the Poultry Cell and Nutri-Drench in the gallon. The little white mixer bowl and syringe will be rinsed for new mixture of E and Complex vitamins this morning. I’ll use that same mixture of vitamins 3x a day. And what you see in the white bowl now is what’s leftover from yesterday. Hopefully this helps
