*Help* Swollen legs

One of our chickens has swollen legs... She seems to be walking fine. She's about three years old.

Bumblefoot or gout- what do the bottoms look like?

I'd think bumblefoot or frost damage. Do you see a scab on the bottom of her feet?

No scab, hasn't been cold enough for frost damage... Just swollen.

I looked in my chicken health handbook and there weren't any pics that looked like that. There were a lot of symptoms of swollen legs...I'd email the vet here http://www.puyallup.wsu.edu/programs.html and send a picture too. They're not too far away if you need to take the chicken in.

ONe of my chickens had very swollen feet and legs to the point she had a hard time walking. Her toes would no longer bend. We finally had to cull her. That poor girl, it just got worse and worse. I was thinking Avian arthritis.
