Help! Tell me what to do.

Incubating eggs makes me a nervous wreck. I had a terrible surprise this morning to find my incubator for some reason had dropped (for I don't know how long) to 95.4 degrees!!!!! I am afraid that it killed all my babies. I got it back up to normal, but I will be freaked out until I can candle/hatch to know if they are ok. (I have several different batches of different ages in the same bator.)

It sounds like your babies will be fine, that spike shouldn't harm them at all..try to relax.

Day 20??? This is just 18!!! You think I'm gonna last that long. If the temps keep jumping up they'll be fried by then!

Okay, when you bring the epidural, could you bring a valium, too?? LOL

Seriously, this is exciting!

nah 103 is not fried your still good...107+ is frying

Thanks fancbrd and sonew!!

I'm calming down. I don't know how high it would have gone though had I not seen it. I'll have to keep a check on it tonight a few times to make sure it's not going way high.

Thanks everyone for talking me off my ledge.

99.5 now and 68%! yeah!

Ok, blessedmama, Sounds like you are good!! I'll leave for now and expect to see cute fuzzy tweeters next time.
PS> both of our girls want to adopt as well. YES!

were those the eggs I sent you? LOL..My bator has gone down drastically too bt amazingly all the growing chicks survived. They are tough little bugger:)

Sonew, I have some in that bator from you, but some of the others you sent are are in the more reliable of my 2 bators. I split up my eggs to avoid complete disaster. I think the ones in the naughty incubator are 3 brown eggs, a blue egg and a pale tinted egg. I have the olive egg and 4 bantam eggs (Silkies?) in the hovabator.
