Help the clip that connects the motor to the egg turner broke

Ok so my plastic piece i built didn't work. The plastic was too soft so the motor started turning and stripped out the hole. So i rebuilt it using Popsicle sticks. I cut two the size of my plastic piece then two smaller.. i super glued them together then used my dremel to shape them.. my thought was that the more space holding onto the shaft the stronger it would be.. so here are pics of my new build.. oh and i coated the finished product with a layer of nail polish to help protect it from seperating in the humidity of the incubator.

A thin grinding bit.. i drilled ahome with adrill bit that was smaller than the motor shaft. Then used a skinny needle grinding bit too slowly make the shape and size iwanted.. ileft it small enough that it is right in the motor shaft

Doc you are a bad man with a Dremel tool thats some nice fabricating
Ingenuity. Beautiful work. I have my plastic piece but it keeps pulling away from the motor. I was wondering if I should glue the two pieces together. I have a load of eggs in incubator and just noticed it was loose. I got it back on but this is the second time in two days it came loose.
