HELP the hawks keep going after my chickens

The only thing that worked for us is supervised free ranging. The hawks around here aren't afraid of fake owls or shiny things but they are super skittish around humans. Crows will mob hawks, but they aren't always around and They would also eat chicks.

Maybe making a giant wooden/clay human looking thing would help
 
Red tailed got my bird today. It was the first and only chicken I've lost to predation. My "silkie sitter" came in the house when my mother in law came for dinner, and I didn't realize it. I'm so so sorry for your loss. I completely understand your distress and sadness. Best of luck
