Help! They're eating straw!!

I put two square bales of straw into the run today for a windbreak. The girls went crazy over it and started EATING it!
Is this OK or will they get impacted crops?

Mine eat a little occasionally and they've never had a problem so they must know when to stop.

Well I would think the majority would know when to stop, then again, go look at "how to...crop operation.." Under emergencies. Mine had a crop full of hay and would have died. Not saying that will happen every time, but please be careful!!!

Yup, mine love fescue hay, too. I never have straw around because the goats gorge on it and it's not nutritionally sound, but they do munch hay a lot! I wouldn't worry.
