Have your girls ever laid a teeny weeny egg????? I tried to insert a picture here but couldn't. It is about the same size as my thumb nail and I am a female. Is it normal for them to lay such a tiny egg every now and again. I am worried as I am not experienced with chickens yet and i am worried that she has a problem:confused:. Please help

Yes, I've only had "fart" eggs that are about the size of bantam eggs or silkie eggs (never seen a silkie egg). & mine have had yolks. Got a new pullet just starting to lay, but have also had a "fart" egg from a grown hen as well. It just happens sometimes. I've heard of many "fart" eggs being VERY small, like the size of a marble & it not having a yolk.
