help to put weight on Muscovy

i have been feeding my Muscovy's duck growers pellets . Oil 3.3% Protein 14.9% Fibre 4.5%. but thinking of trying turkey growers pellets Oil 6.0% Protein 19% Fibre 5.0%. they are 8weeks old and hope to process them in 3 or 4 weeks time .what does everyone think?

I would add a little corn to their diet, not too much as you dont want them super fat but a bit. Thats what I do with my scovies before they are processed.

12 weeks might be a little young for Muscovy. They are slow growers.

I add corn to the diet when I am trying to get fat onto my ducks, but protein is what makes them grow. If you want fast growth, you can feed game bird feed at 28% protein.

If you are hoping to butcher ducks young, I would recommend Pekins ( 8 weeks), or Appleyards (10-12 weeks)
