help to understand red productions???

so red production are crossed with a rhode island red and any plymouth rock? cause i have one that has black on s/he wings.

ah, you're asking for the secret formula to Coke. Each hatchery has their own breeding lines developed for their version of "production reds" that they covetously keep secret. Lots of money to protect!

Yep, they are just a mix of Red breeds that the hatchery threw together. Most likely a lot of RIR, New Hampshire, and Red sex-link.
