Help! Toddler v Duckling

I left my 5 year old unsupervised while I took a shower (horrible idea btw) and when I got out I went to check on him and one of the eggs was on the floor. The duckling was half pulled out and bloody! It's still breathing and is seemingly alive but it's shrinkwrapped and very obvious the yolk sac is still drawing into the abdomen. It's on day 26 and I'm very worried.

It's still alive and I've been spraying it with warm water to keep things dry and the yolk seems to be retracting into the abdomen. It's moving and twitching which I assume is it still trying to zip? If anyone has tips they'd be appreciated since I can't stay up all night misting every 30 mins!

I'm not home, but when I checked this morning it was doing fine and was out of the shell. It had some weird gunk coming out of the belly button and still had it's eyes closed but was still making zipping motions.
