One of my son's top hat hens had her tail feathers ripped out by a roo. She (right now) is bloody. What should I do or put on it? Will she be all right?

I know you originaly posted a long time ago but thought I would answer just in case it happens again.

I had the same thing happen too mine. You should seperate her but make sure she can see the other chickens and they can see her, or else pecking order might happen again. Put neosporin on it, that will prevent infection.

Hope i helped.

One other thing Sunflower seeds can cause her feathers to grow back in faster. And once you put her back in to her coop, put aloe vera on her tail and head feathers, then when they pick at the feathers they will get a bad taste in there mouth and should stop, oh and put her in at night because chickens are kind of "dopey" at night.
