Help!!! Torn wattle! Blu-Kote or Veterycin?

I don't know about the color, but I'd recommend Blue-Kote. It will dry it up and the color keeps it from looking bloody, making it a pecking target. Although I love Vetericyn for wounds, in this case I think Blue-Kote will be a better choice.
How badly is it torn and do you have any idea what happened?

OK thanks for the advice about the Blu-Kote. I'm a newbie, but quickly became a chicken addict...lol I'm not sure what happened in the beginning, but yesterday I noticed a small amount of blood on it and one of the hens was pecking it. There was no blood on his feathers or anywhere else, but I should have separated them then. When I checked on them this morning, it is ripped 3/4 the way down on one side. I'm sure it was from the hens pecking it. It doesn't seem to bother him. He's acting fine, eating and of all things, he is mating just fine...lol
