I am sorry you lost your girl. I would not let that vet within a mile of my birds again. Those statements make it clear she is about the money and paying for her dvm schooling.

You did nothing wrong and certainly did not kill your girl. You always follow your heart and do what you can for your birds.

I agree with SpeckledHen, ChickensAreSweet and guesswhatchickenbutt- you did what you felt comfortable with to try and provide your hen appropriate care and support! I guarantee you that despite all the hours your vet has clocked (and I'm willing to bet the majority of them are not working on chickens), there are plenty of folks with more knowledge and life experience that do not have a degree in veterinary medicine capably caring for their animals. I'm sorry for your loss! I have a hen with long ten EYP and it's a hard road.

I feel that the Exray they gave her was too much Radiation on a sick animal wow

i did not read the whole story but some vets are ok Many bad and just want the dough and very few i found 3 in 43 yrs that are amazing

I had one vet alter one of my cats and she died 2 days after the surgery when her insides came out .

the vet cut too deep for an alter on a female , then tried to blame me because she was 2 yrs old .

Yeah ok go get a lisence

If any of your animals ever get into poison activated charcoal Works ,! ask any vet......
