What kind of thermostat do you have? if it is the gqf type I would possibly think about replacing the bellows as they can and will develop leaks in the disc and then temps start to fluctuate. if it is a home made type like a hot water heater type thermostat you will have to adjust the position of the thermo in relation to the heat source to limit the fluctuation. It boils down to what type of thermostat you have. The other option is the placement of the incubator itself. It should be placed in a draft free location where the temps are pretty stable.thank you!!!! my next question is is it ok that my forced air incubator fluctuates (between 99.5-101)???
Temp gauges do not usually fluctuate without temp fluctuation they may be inaccurate but usually do not fluctuate. I would point to the thermostat that regulates the temperature. if you could tell me what type you are using I can possibly help you better.sorry I messed that one up..... it fluctuates between 98.8 & 101...... we have the one that is one the incubator itself then we have 1 inside that reads the temp & humidity....the one we bought is the one that is fluctuating with digital numbers
