HELP URGENT WING RIPPED OFF

He is the sweetest! I am very happy you got him to a vet. Is he back with the flock?
Not yet, he was part of a Foster experiment, in which we bought a batch of eggs from a local farm raise them, and give them back as adults, to support the farm as it was struggling due to covid. The others had already gone back because they were healthy and our permant flock would just harm him due to their pecking order. Hopefully in the next week or so we can take him there, where he will be with the mini flock he was raised with and be kept in the petting zoo area which he will love because its very social. We live quite close so we can visit all the chickens we raised often. :)

Glad he's recovering. Tomatoes, or any other human food from the nightshade family not particularly good for chickens though. Might want to ask the vet about it. My 2 cents.
Oh yeah, they said its fine in moderation, but make sure they don't eat the tomatoes leaves or flowers because it's toxic or something
