So we got all these lovies at Tractor Supply on Friday the 16th of March. We think that most were probably almost 1 week old when we got them and a few were almost 2 (as they were larger and she sold them at a discount since they'd been there longer). THANK YOU for any help on whether or not our suspicions are correct about breed and age.

Here are Rhode Island Reds. We think they are about 4 weeks.

We are pretty sure these are Australorps. I am suspect the one is a rooster based on how much quicker his comb and waddles are developing. I think these may also be almost 4 weeks?

We believe this beautiful one may be closer to 5 weeks. Also think it is called a Black Star? It was sold a sex link?

We have 2 of these and I have no idea what they are? Thinking they are almost 4 weeks as well.

We have one of these beauties. Silver Laced Wyandotte? I think close to 5 weeks?

We have two of these, thinking close to 5 weeks? One of them is sick with what we believe is Crazy Chick Disease or Vitamin Deficiency. We separated it just to be safe and are treating with vitamins/electrolytes and probiotics. The sick one also has a much more developed comb and waddle already.

Your age, if correct, would mean that these guys are a little young to judge gender yet... that said, the one possible austrolorp... I agree is a cockerel. Lets wait and see how the others develop. Repost pics when they're about 8 weeks or so.

Thank you. I am wondering more about their age for now. We cannot keep roosters here, so if when and if we do find that out, that's a whole nother story :p
