Betadine is better in my opinion. I use a spray bottle, cover the eyes and spray out the debris. Keep it clean and moist. I use triple antibiotic ointment. The others will peck it so she’ll need to be separated. Sometimes you just can’t reintroduce the victim back. By the time she heals they might go right after her again. You Need be careful about that too. Good luck to you and your chick

I noticed this morning the there is a green tint in the wound and some by her undamaged skin going to her eye. I think it may be an infection. What to do?

Keep her away from flies, since they will lay eggs and it can become maggot infested as another one with a similar wound days ago.

Pictures would do wonders. What did you treat the wound with? I would trim the feathers that hang over into the wound. Get a perimeter around it clean. Does the eye have a wound too? Or is it seepage from the skull? Oh I see the pictures now. It needs to be CLEANED!
