as far as her bragging about you....she is proud of you! She talks about it so much because its on her mind! I know you said you are very quiet, and I used to be quiet as a kid/teenager/young adult, but Ive turned out to be not-so-quiet, and I can tell you the chatty ones talk about whatever flutters into their head and if she is talking about it alot, its because she is bursting with pride and admiration! Just let her, No One will thin k you are the elitest...your not the one bringing it up! If you are in her presence when she starts in on it to people just say "oh grandma your embarrassing me! No one wants to hear about that!" Most people are more than willing to let an old woman talk though and would be happy to hear about her grandchildren.
