HELP! Weak Duckling! (WITH PICTURES)

He seemed to perk up after the sugar water and is now eating and drinking like a champ. He's gotten strong enough to hold his little head up and sit up on his own and even is trying to walk. He's only half the size of his siblings of the same age, but hopefully he'll catch up.

I'm just glad he's doing better.

We cannot know how this little one will do, but we thought Elfie would not be with us long based on her size, and how far behind she was developmentally for the first six months or so.

Two and a half years later, she's running with the fastest of them (though her legs are so short that her run is distinctively cute), and the only difference is she won't eat from the hand. She's a hugger, and seems as duck smart as any, and has an excellent eye for anything out of place.
