Help!! Wet pox????

I'm confused..it's been really dry but I think one of my hens has wet pox. I noticed a swollen spot on the corner of her beek. Inside her mouth is a flesh color ulser looking thing. At first I thought it was food that might have built up in the corner of her mouth. I tried to clean it out but it's attached. So what do wet pox look like? And what should I do? Medicate? Or let it run it's course like dry pox? Thanks for any help!!

Wet pox, like dry, comes from mosquitoes, not wet weather. One source says to treat with Lugol's solution of iodine, another that there is no treatment. Perhaps your Google search will produce more than mine, or a search on here might give some answers (the 4th button at the top of the page.)
