I've done my fair share of googling, and I'm turning to the extensive knowlage of everyone on BYC for a little help figuring out these breeds of some of my chickens.

First, is this one. I saw this poor baby dying of a heat stroke at a flee market a time ago, and the person I saved it from didn't even know if it was a pullet or not, much less it's breed. I've always called it a Golden Comet even tho I'm not entirely sure. Ideas?

Second, is this Rooster. Someone dropped him at my place telling me he was part Rhode Island Red, part Game. I know fighting out a mixed chickens breed is harder, but does anyone have an idea what kind of Game rooster? At Tractor Supply I've seen pictures on some of the feeds of a rooster similar to him, but I can't figure out what.

Third, is quite a mix up. A long time ago I found a black hen with some some and brown in my hands, and I tried for the longest time to figure out its breed. One day she sat on a clutch of eggs and hatched them. Shortly after, our newest memeber to the dog pack tore her apart, but luckily it if the eggs she hatched was hers so her legacy continued. I'm pretty sure her father is the rooster above, and her mother looked almost exactly like her, except a little less brown. She's only the smaller side, definitely not a large meat bird. She's a frequent layer and broody often (like her mom)

Thank y'all for responding or at least opening this page :). That's all for now

The first looks like a comet, so you're correct there. Your rooster is a mix, but I don't know game colors so I'm no help there, you bottom hen is also a mixed breed, so she is one of a kind.

That hen is lucky you rescued her! Good job! :)

The only one I can tell the breed is the first hen, she's a red sex link/golden comet.

Thank yall :) My comet is my biggest troublemaker. All the chickens, no matter how tame, are at least a little cautious of me if i start swinging my arms and yell at them. But no, my comet will jump on my back, claw at my hands, and persistently try it's hardest to get where I dont want her to go. When i come in with the feed she'll try her best to trip me (and succeeds often) and while i try to shoo her away to clean it up,she dodges my hands and eats up all the treats. If she wants a free ride, she'll jump on myback and get tangled in my hair, or constantly trying to jump up and attack whatever other chicken im holding. My rooster, who was recently chased by a stray dog, go my poor comet's sister that i bought with her.

The first one could actually be a brown leghorn, it looks exactly like the brown leghorns my local hatchery sells.

The hen in the last pic looks like she has some gamefowl in her. What egg size does she lay. Also it is very hard to find out what kind of gamefowl breed he has in him since alot of them look alike.

The last one's father is the rooster I posted, who is a gamefowl, but her mother looked just like her so she may have more game in her somewhere up the line? And she lays a medium sized tinted egg. I'll try to get a photo up later.
