HELP, What breed is this rooster?

My polish roo stands up very tall like that, built very much on the vertical as opposed to my Rock and EE roos who are built more square.

He looks like a Araucana from the UK.

But just throwing this out here, he looks like a Silkie/EE to me.

OK guys, I am a newbie, but this roo looks nothing like Araucana to me. . . . Araucana are rumpless, no? big head and ear tufts?

I am also a bit confused by those who think EE . . . . no muff beard, large comb and wattles. . .

color and shape seem closest to Australorp, to my eyes. . . what is it that i am not seeing? Thanks for your replies. Carol

cap, in the UK, Araucanas have tails, a crest and beards. The US stock is different.

EE is used entirely too much on this board and is apparently being used to describe any and all mutts, since EEs don't have a standard. ANYWHO....I believe people are seeing the pea comb and since the bird does not look to have Brahma in it, they are jumping to the EE conclusion.

Australorps just don't have pea combs, period. He clearly is mixed with a crested breed but mixed with what could be anyone's guess. Possibly with a Black Ameraucana but cross breeding can have funny results.
