Does anyone know what breed the lighter hen is here? Her skin/earlobes were shades of purples and blues. Very pretty. Dying to know.

Silkie cross? Really? Someone on another page suggested a mosaic.

Firstly people frequently jump to conclusions based on the popularity of fad breeds. So a lot of people will say she's a mosaic because those are popular currently and she does have some similar traits. Her crest; however, would be the deciding factor for me that she is not a Mosaic. Silkies on the other hand are crested and have dark skin and blue earlobes. I do find it odd that she has four toes and not five (which Silkie crosses often have) and no feathering on her legs (again a Silkie trait). But it is much more likely that she is a Silkie cross than a Mosaic cross. She isn't a pure Mosaic because they are not available in a crested variety. If she is part Mosaic, chances are she also has Cream Crested Legbar in her to get the crest.

I actually do see very light feathering on the legs, which contributed to my assessment.
