Help!!! what breed is this?

Hey I bought these two chicks as buff orpington and rhode island red, but now I'm thinking otherwise. Please help identify breed! Please also if you know the breed tell me what characteristics they have, thank you!

The one with the white tail looks like a red sex link, and the other one looks like a generic red hen--new hampshire, production red, whatever hatchery red bird.
