Help! What breed of duck do I have?šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

Please help us figure out what type of duck we have. We thought maybe as he got older, itā€™d be easier to figure out, but the only thing weā€™ve been able to discern at this point is that he is most likely a she! He/she is around 3 months old now and these are a few pictures from the day we got him/her up to nowā€¦..we are in northeastern Oklahoma if that matters in figuring out breedsšŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøšŸ™†šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

That is a Chocolate Barred Muscovy. Barred is a recessive gene, so both parents need to pass it on. The chicks hatch out yellow with their tails the colour they will be as adults.

Unfortunately, the lovely markings will moult out. :( Most only retain the barring under their wings and on their abdomens.

This is my own girl, Jewel, a Black Barred.

I've never seen pics of this stage of barred Scovies before. That barring is very striking! Kind of a shame it molts away.
