Since hatcheries likely keep each breed separately, mixes (unless intentional, like Olive Eggers) aren't the norm.

Are you positive these eggs were laid by the mystery birds? Caught them in the act? They could be from your BCM, or even Welsummers.

I'm seeing single combs, actually.

Yes positive caught them in the act, and the combs are all split in half in the back...here are some photos I had on my camera Thanks by the way

Interesting....could they be Penedesencas? I believe this breed is carnation-combed, and lay dark eggs.

Ah, found a couple flaws in my guess. Crele Penedesencas have white earlobes, not to mention I'm unaware of any hatcheries that carry them.
