help what is this chicken

    Does anyone know why kind of chicken this is. I know she is probably a cross breed but I do not know what she is crossed with. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Where are you from? If in the UK, I would say an araucana.

    If in the US I would say some type of easter egger.

    Easter Egger. (crossbreed) Check her comb though - If it is lumpy and not sawtooth edged, you should get green or blue eggs from her. [​IMG]

    Yes, it does look like an Easter Egger! But I'd say an Amerucana.. but it have a beard and earmuffs? Then its an Amerucana/

    I say ameraucana, araucanas are rumples and have ear tufts.

    ok I looked up pics of easter egger hens and maybe this is because it is a cross breed but mine does not show signs of a comb yet. All it has is the tuft of feathers on top of its head. but this may be because it is not fully matured. Thanks for all the help so far.
