Thank you! That's what it looks like to me also. I have a white satin hen from the same coop that has been droopy and lethargic. She is in quarantine/brooder separated from the others. Do you think the issue could be related?It looks like fowl pox, a virus spread by mosquitoes that lasts several weeks. Leave the scabs alone. Any scabs near the eyes would need some Terramycin eye ointment or plain Neosporin into the eyes twice a day to help prevent a secondary eye infection. It looks likemher right eye may be glued shut by secretions and crust, so I would use a warm wet compress or flush with saline or water to open the eyes. Here is some reading:
