Almost looks like eggs of some sort. Did you give it a bath or how did it get all wet? I've never seen anything like that. I'm curious to know what it is.

I would look for mites or lice crawling on the skin. Favus, a fungal infection can also cause a powdery build-up around the face and comb. Mites can kill very quickly, so I would check carefully. Lice and mites may be treated with permethrin, which is sold in most feed stores in a concentrate that can be mixed with water to use in a spray bottle. Use it every 7 days until gone, and also treat the coop after bedding is removed.

If fungus is suspected, an antifungal cream such as clotrimazole or miconazole can be used daily on the skin. Here is a good link or two to read about mites and lice identification:

Sniffles as in sneezing a lot. She is a silkie and very fluffy without me getting her wet like that you can’t see the build up.

Are her nostrils caked with secretions or feed? Make sure they are clear, or you can clean them with saline and a feather quill. Hydrogen peroxide (a couple of drops on a QTip) may also helped with caked on goo.

Sneezing can be sue to an illness, such as infectious bronchitis or mycoplasma, and other respiratory diseases. Most respiratory infections will tend to cause watery eyes or nasal drainage. But dust in the coop or in the feed, mold, ammonia odors from poop, and poor air circulation can also cause sneezing.
