Help? What is this??

Hello!
I have a Salmon Favorolle chick that has a strangely messy navel. I can’t tell what it is and want to know how concerned I should be and if I should wash it. I’m going to also be doing research about it, but I would love some help and advice from you guys!!

Is it possible to give a better view? The umbilical stump is below the vent and should really be left alone to heal...definitely don't disturb the scab.
