1 chicken found dead after not coming back to the coop last night, and this morning i let the flock out and noticed a few were gurgling and making hacking noises (symptoms showed up this morning only) so i started treating them one by one with VetRx and when i grabbed my rooster (he’s a scaredy cat) he started throwing up this clear liquid (about 10-16oz worth) and that’s when i noticed this red thing and white thing.... is this gapeworm or something else!? anyone know?

Have you added any new birds to your flock in the last 30 days?

First thing in the morning - how did their crops feel?

The symptom of throwing up and making noises sounds like my hen who had sour crop. She didn't make it. Do as "puppy love" suggests, feel for a swollen mushy crop. Problem is, I'm not sure it is contagious?

I would look for more signs of blood from the beak, especially being slung on the walls of the coop or roosts. That might be caused by ILT or infectious laryngo tracheitis, though testing would differentiate it from another respiratory disease. Do you have a vet who will seee chickens and try to test a few chickens? Most respiratory diseases are brought into the flock with a new addition that is a carrier. The rooster with the vomiting may have a impacted or sour crop, but you also may have accidentally squeezed his crop during handling causing him to vomit.
