So I rehomed some chickens a few months ago and was told they were all hens. I now know this is not the case.

The brown chicken has given me an
egg so I know she is a hen. However I have heard crowing from the coop in the mornings. I have a good guess which one it is but what are your thoughts on the other chickens? Sorry they are not the best pictures.

These are the best photos I could get of each chicken until my husband comes home to help me.

Thank you very much for your help I appreciate it

How odd! Their saddle feathers are long & drooping like a rooster's, but they're all (mostly) rounded like hen feathers.

What breed are these guys? The columbian looking ones are so pretty :love

Sorry I can't help sex them positively but here's hoping you have a few hens - it really looks like you do~

We assumed it was the brown one that gave us a egg as we found her sat on it. We have also witnessed cockerels mounting her. I'll add some more pictures for a closer look. It's one of my favourites!

The white ones we were told are Sussex light chickens.

I really hope some are hens but there is definitely a cockerel as it has crowed the last few mornings and we don't have another cockerel in that coop.
