Not sure if this is the right place to post this so I'm going to post on decease thread also.
I have a 12 week old SLW. Today when I let them out of the run to free range she was reluctant to come out. When I went back out later to check on her she was laying under the bushes and wouldn't come out even when I offered them treats. She wouldn't have anything to do with it. I reach under the bush to see if she was alright but she ran deeper into the bush. And laid back down. She looks ok but I can't catcher her.
She always comes running with the others for their treats.
I will say that she is the least friendly of my 7 girls and never let's me touch her or come near her.
Does anyone have the slightest clue what she is up too?

Update... I finally caught her. I checked out her crop and it was empty. I made her through up and all that came out was some water and a few tiny pieces of feed. When I let her down she when back under the bushes and laid back down. I tried to feed her some yogurt but would have nothing to do with it.
Any suggestions Please?

No! They leave her alone. They don't bother her at all. She is just laying down and resting under the bushes.

My Cochin hen (3 yrs old) has started to turn around in circles. Weird behavior...turning...turning.....she has never done this. What is wrong? Anyone know?

Both of you should post in the Emergencies forum if you want quick help.

Yes I did post in that forum. But it doesn't matter anymore. She died at 4PM

I'm sorry you lost her.

I think when you were saying she was laying down, everyone thought you meant laying down like a regular chicken does, on their bottom. But you obviously meant she was lying on her side.

I don't know what was wrong with her, aside from the obvious fact that she was not eating.
