HELP! Why can't I change my avatar?

I've tried a bazillion times tonight to change my avatar. I do everything the same way that I've always done it, but it doesn't change it. What's up?

Are you getting any kind of error message when you try to upload it?

No. It tells me "avatar uploaded" and the redirecting stuff, but it doesn't change it.

Try to delete your internet cache.

Have u tried logging off of BYC and logging back in after you change the avatar?

Ok, let me try a few of these things. The chick is what I want, but I still see my old avatar.

Ok, tried all of the above, except posting the pic I want. I cleaned out my internet cache, and I cannot log out of BYC...it tells me that I've logged out, but then the index screen appears and tells me I'm still logged in. I've also disconnected from the internet, and started up again, and still the same thing. My avatar is still showing a smiley face, and Miss_Jayne sees the same thing.

BTW...that is one very cute avatar
