HELP! Why is he doing this?

What is the temp in your brooder? Pekin tend to get over heated pretty easy

he looks hot to me. but the other one doesnt. does he have access to water?

Yes he has access to water. The brooder is room temperature, about 72-75 right now. No reason he should be over heating.

I just added cold water instead of the warm water they've been having access to.

It seems to have helped! He's stopped chattering and shaking, but now he's guzzling water. I feel so bad, he had just room temperature water before just fine. My poor baby

No more shivering/panting! I turned the A/C up so it's about 70-72 in here. Probably closer to 75 in their brooder since they're cuddling. They're not shivering though so I don't think they're too cold. I also gave him some extra niacin because he for some reason keeps getting stuck on his back like a turtle.

Hello. Not enough air flow and they put off lots of heat themselves. Brooder to confined. Time for a different set up. They need cold water. Not warm water..
