HELP...Why would they stop laying at 1yr 3 months old?

Yup, give them a couple of weeks. Twice I have brought new hens in and they lay for a few days and then take a two - three week break and then start up again. Good luck!

I would feed the girls some treats to make friends with them. Then they will know that you are the big momma.
