Is the second a cockerel due to red on the shoulders/top wing? or why?

Yes, it has deeper, bright red shoulders, and overall uneven color. The comb is still small, but I think that will change quickly.

Thank you, as I want to learn more. I have one I'm watching that has uneven colors and red on shoulders w/small comb at 13 weeks, today. Another that has a bit darker red on the shoulders (a RIR or Buckeye mix).
As I have rehomed 3 cockerels thus far, I am waiting on the other 2 possible/probably cockerels, due to having the space for another 2-3 weeks. One has crowed, none others. I'm taking pictures of them, their bodies and feathers on critical areas for cockerels, for future reference, to learn.
